How we recommend using the desk

Sitting at a desk all day is bad for you,  however, constant standing is also not good for you. The best way to use our desk is to alternate frequently between sitting and standing. The Office Ergonomics Research Committee (OERC) suggests switching between the 2 positions ideally every 30 minutes. But, they also recognise that this may be hard to remember and alternatively suggest you could stand up for particular tasks such as when you are answering emails or are on conference calls. When standing, in order to improve your posture the OERC advises standing up straight and keeping your hips tucked under. When sitting, our lower 2 slots allow you to elevate your computer to your eye level so you can keep a good posture.
